Wir begrüßen ganz herzlich Reece Halden aus Großbritannien, der bis Ende Mai 2023 nun in unserer Schule arbeiten wird. Hier stellt er sich selbst vor:
Hello everyone! I’m Reece, the new foreign language assistant at the
school. I’m 21 and come from England - from a small town between London
and Brighton to be more precise - and I am in Germany as a part of my
Year Abroad for my university course. I go to the University of
Sheffield in the North of England and I study Linguistics and German.
Personally, I find the study of languages really important and, because
of this, I thought this would be the best way to contribute to that as I
am a native speaker and I, for one, know how important the influence of
native speakers will be for me over the next year in improving my
German. Overall, I really hope I can make learning English more
interactive for the students or, alternatively, simply provide a bit of
extra help with the grammar and understanding of the language. Germany
has been amazing so far. Fritzlar is completely different to anywhere in
Germany I have ever been before - I have only visited Cologne and
Berlin in the past! I’m really looking forward to the rest of my time

Hallo! Ich bin Reece, der neue Fremdsprachenassistent an der Schule. Ich
bin 21 und komme aus England - genauer gesagt aus einer Kleinstadt
zwischen London und Brighton - und bin im Rahmen meines Auslandsjahres
für mein Studium in Deutschland. Ich gehe an die University of Sheffield
im Norden Englands und ich studiere Linguistik und Deutsch. Persönlich
finde ich das Studium der Sprachen sehr wichtig und aus diesem Grund
dachte ich, dass dies der beste Weg wäre, zu diesem Unterricht
beizutragen, da ich ein Muttersprachler bin und ich weiß, wie wichtig
der Einfluss von Muttersprachlern für mich im nächsten Jahr sein wird,
um mein Deutsch zu verbessern. Insgesamt hoffe ich wirklich, dass ich
das Englisch-Lernen für die Schüler interaktiver gestalten oder einfach
ein wenig zusätzliche Hilfe bei der Grammatik und dem Verständnis der
Sprache geben kann. Deutschland war bisher beeindruckend. In Fritzlar
ist es völlig anders als anderswo in Deutschland, ich war zuvor nur in
Köln und Berlin. Ich freue mich sehr auf den Rest meiner Zeit hier.
